Genista (Broom)
Genista is a varirty of Broom.
Here at Triangle Nursery we import a lot of genista from the Italian foliage markets. Much of the genista is cut in Sicily from the lower slopes of Mount Etna.
Genista is available for a short time every year starting from November through to March. Genista is also available dyed many in different colours. Why not try using genista in your next wedding flowers project for something a little different?

To get the best from your wholesale cut genista please read the care instructions below carefully:
- Cut the bottom of the stems with a sharp knife.
- Fill sterilised buckets with luke warm water and add flower food.
- Place the genista in the buckets.
- Leave over night to condition before using.
Never leave cut flowers in direct sun light, near a radiator, in a draft or near fruit. (The gas used to ripen fruit will harm most flowers). Keep the genista in a cool place and always keep out of the way of children.
