Bouvardia

A genus of the Rubiaceae family, Bouvardia is a plant native to the tropical Americas. Named after a French doctor called Charles Bouvard, bouvardia flowers are small trumpet shapes that form loose clusters edged with bright green leaves.
Each stem is topped with it's own little bouquet of dainty star shaped flowers. Bouvardia is available in many varieties and the colour range includes pinks, whites, creams, green, peaches, reds and lilacs.
Bouvardia is a very popular wedding flower, often used in bridesmaid bouquets. Bouvardia is wholesaled in wraps of 10 stems Stem lengths vary from 55 - 65cm depending on the variety and grade.

To get the best from your wholesale cut bouvardia please read the care instructions below carefully:
- Cut the stems at a 45 degree angle with a sharp knife.
- Fill sterilised buckets with luke warm water and add flower food.
- Place the bouvardia in the buckets.
- Leave over night to condition before using.
Never leave cut flowers in direct sun light, near a radiator, in a draft or near fruit. (The gas used to ripen fruit will harm most flowers). Keep the bouvardia in a cool place and always keep out of the way of children.
