Scilla
Scilla is a member of the hyacinths family and is native to Asia and Europe. Scilla is grown from bulb and is commonly found in woodlands, meadows and near the seashore.
Scilla is available as a fresh cut flower and is probably the nearest commercially grown flower to wild blue bells. On the wholesale flower markets scilla is sold in wraps 50 or 100 stems and is usually no taller than 20 – 30cm. Scilla is perfect for small table arrangements when used in wedding flowers.

To get the best from your wholesale cut scilla please read the care instructions below carefully:
- Cut the stems at a 45 degree angle with a sharp knife.
- Fill sterilised buckets with luke warm water and add flower food.
- Place the scilla in the buckets.
- Leave over night to condition before using.
Never leave cut flowers in direct sun light, near a radiator, in a draft or near fruit. (The gas used to ripen fruit will harm most flowers). Keep the scilla in a cool place and always keep out of the way of children.
