Phoenix Roebelenii Palms
Phoenix Roebelenii Palms, (often called Pygmy Date Palms or Miniature Date Palms), are a species of palm native to southeast Asia. The word 'roebelenii' is often miss spelt 'roebelinii'.
The Phoenix Palm leaves are made up of numerous leaflets approx. 1 cm across at the widest point.
Phoenix Roebelenii is cultivated in bulk for the wholesale cut flower markets and are a great favourite of florists who use the palms to edge flower bouquets and use in large arrangements and wedding flowers. Phoenix Roebelenii is also a lot cheaper than Kentia Palm - but looks nearly identical.
Phoenix Roebelenii is wholesaled in wraps of 10 stems and is available in 60cm and 80cm stem lengths.
