Sandersonia (Christmas Bells)
Sandersonia, (otherwise known as Christmas Bells and Golden Lily), is a climbing plant that flowers in shades of orange. Sandersonia is prized for its ornamental lantern like flowers and long vase life as a cut flower.
The sword shaped leaves of sandersonia are formed along a single stem with the flowers occurring on stalks from the leaf axils.
In the wholesale flower markets sandersonia is available in cut form and is usually sold in wraps of 10 stems. Although very similar in look to Physalis, (Chinese Lanterns), sandersonia is not related. Sandersonia is always a great addition to wedding flowers!

To get the best from your wholesale cut sandersonia please read the care instructions below carefully:
- Cut the stems at a 45 degree angle with a sharp knife.

- Place the sandersonia in the buckets making sure the stems are supported.
- Leave over night to condition before using.
Never leave cut flowers in direct sun light, near a radiator, in a draft or near fruit. (The gas used to ripen fruit will harm most flowers). Keep the sandersonia in a cool place and always keep out of the way of children.
