Freesia is a flower native to South America. Freesia is not only produced for the flower trade but also for the cosmetic industry because of its incredible perfume.

Freesias are available all year round as a cut flower in single and double varieties.

You will notice that, on the face of it, some freesia varieties look like duplicate entries - Eg. the same variety, the same stem length, from the same flower auction but listed at different prices. This is because freesia are also graded by weight. It follows that the higher the price for the same variety, the heavier the weight & therefore a better grade.
