Firstly, you will need to create an account for yourself on our web site by clicking 'My Account' at the top right hand side of the Online Shop & filling in your details. Then simply log into our online shop with your username and password and you are able to browse an enormous range of wholesale flowers, foliage and floral supplies at wholesale prices! The prices shown are ex VAT & delivery costs if applicable.

(Please note, because flowers are purchased at auction, the prices will change daily based on ‘supply & demand’. The site can only display daily market prices).

Our site is not a robotic, automated ordering system – If you are confident in your requirements, simply choose your delivery day and place your order online. If you need help and advice just phone us to discuss your requirements in detail. We can advise you on all aspects of your project from start to finish and then process your order for you.

4). HOW DO I GET A USER NAME & PASSWORD?

Simply go to the ‘my account’ area of our online shop and fill in your details. You will be given the opportunity to choose your own user name (usually your email address) and secure password.

5). HOW ARE MY WHOLESALE FLOWERS PACKED?

All wholesale flowers, foliage and floral supplies are professionally packed in sturdy wholesale flower boxes. Flowers that require water in transit are packed with specially designed aqua packs attached to the stems.

6). WHAT TIME OF DAY WILL MY WHOLESALE FLOWERS BE DELIVERED?

We offer three delivery options that are clearly displayed at the checkout. Option 1. offers delivery any time between 7.30am - 5.45pm on your preferred delivery date. Option 2. offers delivery before 12.45pm on your preferred delivery date. Option 3. offers delivery before 10.45am on your preferred delivery date. Option 4. gives customers the option to collect from Triangle Nursery Ltd in person - this option is obviously free of charge.

7). WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM OUT AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY?

Firstly, it is very important that someone is available to accept your wholesale flowers because they should be unpacked and conditioned as soon as possible. Secondly, should no one be available to accept delivery, we will attempt to leave your order in a safe place at the delivery address or with a neighbour – in this event, however, neither us or any delivery company acting on our behalf, can be held responsible or accept any claim for any loss or damage caused. Failing this the courier will leave a calling card in your mailbox with instructions on collecting your flowers from their depot. (When collecting from a courier depot, always take identification such as a photo driving licence or passport with you).

8). IS THE DELIVERY DATE GUARANTEED?

We will always attempt to deliver your order on the specified date, however due to circumstances outside of our control, such as traffic conditions etc, a delivery on the following day may be possible. From experience we have found that 99% of orders are delivered on the specified date.

9). WHY DOES THE PRICE OF FLOWERS KEEP CHANGING?

All of our flowers are specifically purchased for you by us at the Aalsmeer Flower Auction in Holland. As with any other auction situation the price of each item is determined by supply and demand on a daily basis. This can be a daunting part of buying wholesale flowers but you are guaranteed our best help and advice all the way.

10). HOW DO I PAY?

Payment is taken via credit or debit card. We accept all major payment cards including American Express. Full payment is required before your order can be dispatched.

11). CAN I CANCEL OR AMEND MY ORDER?

Once your order for wholesale flowers and foliage has been confirmed it is not possible to cancel or amend it. The reason for this being as soon as we process your order it is sent directly to our buyers in Holland. They then act very quickly and start buying your flowers at the auction. The system is extremely quick fire and there is no time to change the order. It is possible to add extra items by creating another order before the cut off time though.

Floral sundries can be cancelled or amended only if they have not already been dispatched.

12). IS THERE A DELIVERY CHARGE?

As mentioned above, there is a choice of delivery options available. Please note that Floral Accessory only orders are charged at just £7.95 per order.

13). DO YOUR PRICES INCLUDE OR EXCLUDE VAT?

As we are a wholesale company, none of the prices shown online include UK VAT. VAT will be applied to the total of your flowers and delivery charges if applicable.

14). DO YOU OFFER ADVICE BEFORE I BUY?

Absolutely! This is what we are all about. Buying wholesale flowers can be a little daunting. The prices are always changing, flowers come in & out of season, matching different varieties together, blending colours and shades of colours, choosing different grades of flowers, deciding on what stem lengths are suitable for the job and what quantities of each to buy! Our web site is not a robotic ordering system – placing your final order is probably the easiest part of it all. Please always call or email us for advice before you start. There is no charge for advice and we are here to help you every step of the way.

15). CAN I ORDER WEEKS IN ADVANCE?

Unfortunately this is not possible because the wholesale flower and foliage varieties available and the prices change on a daily basis. Saying that though, we can always give you a ‘guestimate’ at any time to help you with your budget – just give us a call or send an email to [email protected]

16). DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM ORDER VALUE?

No! You can order exactly what you need. All orders are important to us, no matter how big or small. (Please note, we cannot split flower wraps down. Eg. Roses are sold 20 stems per bunch - we cannot split the wrap & supply 10 stems - in this example you can buy roses in multiples of 20 stems: 20, 40, 60, 80 etc).

17). WHERE DO YOUR FLOWERS COME FROM?

All of our flowers are purchased specifically for you by us at two flower auctions: The Aalsmeer Flower Auction, Bloemenveiling Aalsmeer, Legmeerdijk 313, Postbus 1000, 1430 BA Aalsmeer, The Rijnsburg Flower Auction, Bloemenveiling Rijnsburg, Laan van Verhof, Straat B3.13 Rijnsburg or directly from the grower and are delivered directly to your door.

18). WHERE DO YOU DELIVER?

We deliver to almost all areas of Mainland UK. The only areas we do not recommend delivery is some areas of Scotland – this is because it takes 2 days to deliver and in our opinion that is too long for flowers to be in transit. Please see the post code areas where we do not deliver here. If your delivery address is in one of these areas our web site will not be able to process your order.

19). HOW DO I CARE FOR MY FLOWERS AFTER DELIVERY?

Please refer to the ‘care & conditioning of flowers’ area of our web site or the 'Flower Guides' for specific varieties. Telephone and email advice is always available as well.

20). WHAT DOES 'BUYERS CHOICE' MEAN?

Next to some cut flower varieties you will notice the term 'buyers choice' or 'our choice'. This means that our buyers will buy the best value for money variety cut flower in the requested colour. The variety will not nesessarily be the same as the image shown. This option is great when looking for the best value and the specific variety is not important. Eg. If you choose Chrysant SGL Yellow - Buyers Choice - you will receive a yellow chrysanth bloom but it could be any variety of yellow chrysanth bloom.

21). WHAT DOES FFP MEAN?

Next to many cut flower varieties on our web site you will see the letters FFP. This is the symbol for Fair Flowers Fair Plants and ensures that these products have been grown in a responsible manner. You can read more about the FFP movement on their web site here

22). WHAT DO THE QUALITY RATINGS PUBLISHED MEAN?

Products purchased at Aalsmeer Flower Auction have 3 grades: Good Quality, Extra Quality & Super Quality - as we specialise in top end cut flowers we don't offer any products graded below 'Good Quality' from this auction.

Products purchased at Rijnsburg Flower Auction have a different grading system - all of our products purchased at this auction are 'BA' (equivalent to 'Good Quality') or 'A1' (equivalent to 'Extra Quality'). Products graded below 'BA' from this auction are not offered on our web site.
