Ecuadorian and Colombian roses excel due to their high-altitude growth and equatorial location, offering intense sunlight, cool nights, and year-round consistent lighting conditions. This environment produces vibrant colours, larger flower heads, and sturdy, strong stems. Volcanic, nutrient rich soil further enhances quality. Compared to European roses, usually grown in controlled hydroponic systemised greenhouses, Ecuadorian & Colombian roses have stronger stems, fuller blooms, and a greater velvety luxury feel.
