How to Make a Greenery Backdrop

Easy

Step by Step Guide

  1. Start by conditioning the foliage before you start working with it. We recommend receiving the greenery 2 to 3 days prior to the event to allow time for this.

  2. Begin by creating a garland with the soft ruscus (you can add the eucalyptus for added texture).

  3. Once you have created the garland, you can attach to the backdrop using cable ties, nails or staples - making sure there is a suitable place and you have permission from the venue.
  4. If you prepare the garlands in advance, soft ruscus is the preferred option as this is long lasting out of water and versatile. Prepare a box with tissue or kraft paper, place the garlands inside, mist and cover to create a micro-climate.
