Address the issue of discrimination faced by mothers in Britain today. Each of the jobs lost by women in the UK annually, was represented by one single, white carnation - the flower originally chosen as a symbol of Mother's Day. 

For one day on London's South Bank, Maternity Action displayed a public art exhibit called #54k.

Information: 

On Mother's Day 2018, Triangle Nursery delivered 54,000 single white carnation to London for the charity, Maternity Action. The charity is calling on the government to address the issue of discrimination against mothers in Britain. 

The charity launched it's largest campaign to date to highlight the plight of the 54,000 women unfairly forced out of their jobs due to pregnancy and maternity discrimination.
