Alchemilla Mollis

Alchemilla Mollis, (otherwise known as Lady’s Mantle) is an ornamental garden plant native to North America. Alchemilla Mollis takes its name from the Arabic words meaning ‘little magical one’ due to its healing properties. It has been used as an ingredient in herbal remedies for centuries.

Alchemilla Mollis leaves are scalloped shaped with serated edges. The lime green flowers are in dense clusters above the foliage.

In the wholesale flower markets Alchemilla Moliis is sold in wraps of 10 or 25 stems. Although Alchemilla Mollis is a flower, many florists use it as a form of greenery in bouquets and flower arrangements. In wedding flowers, it tones beautifully with hydrangeas, avalanche roses etc.
