Astrantia
Wholesale Astrantia is a delicate, star-shaped cut flower loved for its soft texture and natural garden appearance. It has branched wiry stems with an almost straw-like feel to touch. It is a popular choice for weddings, romantic arrangements and vintage-style floristry.
Astrantia works beautifully as a detail flower, adding softness and movement without overpowering the main flowers. It is also suitable for drying, making it useful for fresh and dried designs.
A firm cottage-garden favourite for many florists and flower arrangers; it also grows in the wild.

Conditioning and Care
To get the best out of your Astrantia, please follow the instructions carefully:
- Ideal temperature range 8 to 10 degrees
- Cut the stems at a 45-degree angle with a sharp knife or secateurs.
- Fill sterilised buckets with fresh, clean water and add flower food (always if available).
- Place the astrantia in the buckets.
- Leave overnight to condition before using.
- Heads can shatter easily, so handle with care
Never leave cut flowers in direct sunlight, near a radiator, in a draft or near fruit. (The gas used to ripen fruit will harm most flowers). Keep the astrantia in a cool place and always keep it out of the way of children.
