Cut Gladioli are tall and slender with a multitude of flowers running nearly all the way up the unbranched stems.
The name 'Gladioli' comes from the Latin word for sword 'Gladius'. Large cut Gladioli can vary in stem lengths of 75cm - 120cm tall. The miniature varieties, (such as Alba, Charming Beauty and Nymph), are often referred to as 'Bridal Gladioli' and are widely used in wedding flower projects.
