When Should I Make the Bouquet? 

We recommend creating the bouquet the day before or on the morning of the event. 

Keep the stems in clean, fresh water and store the bouquet in a cool, low-lit environment until required. Make sure the ribbon remains above the waterline and avoid placing the bouquet near direct sunlight, heat and draughts.

Common Problems & Solutions

Bouquet looks overcrowded: Remove or reposition a few stems to create more negative space. Minimalist designs rely on careful placement rather than a large quantity of flowers. 

Bouquet looks unbalanced: Rotate the bouquet regularly while designing and check the flower placement from the front, sides and above. You can also work in front of a mirror to help with placements while constructing. 

Rose petals tear whilst reflexing: Work gently with well-hydrated roses and carefully turn back the outer petals one at a time. Avoid reflexing roses that feel too tight or brittle. 

Hydrangea begins to wilt: Make sure the hydrangea has been thoroughly conditioned before arranging. Recut the stems, place them into fresh, clean water and lightly mist the flower heads if required.
