Brodea & Ixia

Yet another name for Brodea is 'Triplet Lilies'. Brodea is a very small pretty flower with star shaped, mostly blue petals on the top of long bracts.

Ixia, otherwise known as African Corn lily, is also a small star shaped flower. Ixia has thin wiry stems and sword shaped leaves.

Both Brodea and Ixia are extremely popular in wedding flowers these days.
