When should I order Daffodils and Narcissus?

We recommend delivery 2-3 days before the event. They arrive arrive tight or closed and will need time to open. Daffodils and narcissus release a sap from their stems, so they need careful conditioning.

Step by Step Conditioning Guide

1. Carefully remove all packaging

2. Cut 2-3cm off each stem at a sharp angle

3. Place the stems into their own bucket of fresh, clean water. The flowers produce a poisonous sap that can wilt other flowers.

4. Allow them to stand seperately for several hours or overnight

5. Store in a cool, low lit environment and keep away from direct heat and sunlight.

Common Problems & Solutions

Slimy stems: Daffodils produce sap naturally. Keep buckets clean and change water regularly.

Other flowers wilting nearby: Daffodil sap can affect the other flowers. Conditioning them seperately before mixing.

Flowers not opening: Place them in fresh water and allow time at room temperature.

Short vase life: Often caused by dirty water, warmth or poor hydration
