When Should I Order Sunflowers?
We recommend delivery 2-3 days before the event. Sunflowers are generally strong and reliable but need good hydration. They should be stored upright in clean water.

Step by step Conditioning Guide
To get the best from your wholesale cut sunflowers , please read the care instructions below carefully:
1. Remove and unpack the sunflowers carefully
2. Cut the stems at a 45 degree angle with a sharp knife, scissors or secateurs (preferred)
3. Fill sterilised buckets with cool to luke warm water and add in the sunflowers.
4. Leave overnight to condition before use.
5. It is advised to not condition Sunflowers in galvanised buckets or with flower food.
6. Never leave cut flowers in direct sunlight, near a radiator, in a draft or near fruit. Keep the sunflowers in a cool place and away from children.

Drooping Heads: Re-cut the stems, slit up the stem to increase the surface area exposed to water and place into deep, clean water
Large leaves wilting: Remove excess foliage to reduce water loss
Short vase life: Keep water clean and change regularly
Heavy heads bending: Support the stems upright whilst in tall containers or buckets
