Agapanthus
Wholesale Agapanthus are elegant, tall-stemmed cut flowers topped with clusters of trumpet-shaped flowers, also known as African Lily, or Lily of the Nile. They are popular for summer weddings, contemporary designs and arrangements where height and movement are required.
Agapanthus are usually available in shades of blue, lilac, white and occasionally deeper purple tones. Their long, clean stems and rounded flower heads make them a useful choice for both modern and garden-style floristry.

In the wholesale flower markets, wholesale cut agapanthus is typically sold in wraps of 10 stems or 20 stems and stem lengths vary between 70 and 80cm tall.
Although cultivated under glass, agapanthus is not available year-round like many other cut flowers these days.

- Benefits of the use of flower food
- Place the agapanthus in the buckets.
- Leave overnight to condition before using.
- Never leave them out of water, as they can dry out easily
- Prone to flower drop, to help prevent this, re-cut the stems frequently to keep them a fresh flow of water to the flower head
