Eremurus (Foxtail Lily)
Eremurus, (otherwise known as the Foxtail Lily and Desert Candles), are native to western & central Asia.
Eremrus are famous for their long spike shaped flowers and strong stems. (As a garden plant eremurus doesn’t need staking for support). The eremurus flower is made up of 1000’s of tiny flowers all attached to the central stem.
As a cut flower eremurus is available in the wholesale flower markets in wraps of 10 stems. The stem height can vary from 70 – 140cm depending on the grade and variety required. Eremurus flowers from the bottom upwards and is available in a range of bright colours.
Eremurus is well known for its long vase life and looks extremely dramatic when used in large floral arrangements and displays. Eremurus is widely used in wedding flowers for large pedestal arrangements.

To get the best from your wholesale cut eremurus please read the care instructions below carefully:
- Cut the stems at a 45 degree angle with a sharp knife.
- Fill sterilised buckets with luke warm water and add flower food.
- Place the eremurus in the buckets.
- Leave over night to condition before using.
Never leave cut flowers in direct sun light, near a radiator, in a draft or near fruit. (The gas used to ripen fruit will harm most flowers). Keep the eremurus in a cool place and always keep out of the way of children.
