Our delivery slots are driven by auction dates.
You should aim to have your flowers delivered 2-3 days before your event to allow time to condition and develop correctly.
Tulips are a seasonal flower usually available between the start of December and the end of April. Tulips have a single flower per stem and rubbery leaves.
Tulips will always bend towards the light, so condition in their wrappers to keep straight. Floristry wire can be pushed up the stems before arranging.
You will notice that, on the face of it, some tulip varieties look like duplicate entries - Eg. the same variety, the same stem length, from the same flower auction but listed at different prices. This is because tulips are also graded by weight. It follows that the higher the price for the same variety, the heavier the weight & therefore a better grade.
